Bill
has been a member of the Daleville Lions Club for 25
years. In 2006-07 Bill served for the second time as President of
the
Daleville Lions Club. The Club received the Roderick Beddow Award
for the
Most Outstanding Club in Alabama for the 2nd time in its
history. The Club also received the PIP Bill Chandler
Membership
Award for increasing membership from 28 to 44 members using the “Lions
Night
Out” method. Lion Bill received the President’s Excellence Award.
Bill
served his club as Club Campaign SightFirst I & II
Chairman and during CSFII Daleville was a Progressive Model Club.
During
the
1994-95
Year,
Bill
was
named
Lion
of
the
Year
in
his
Club
which
was
the
same
year
the
Daleville
Lions Club received its
first
Roderick Beddow Award. Bill received his Melvin Jones Fellowship from
his Club
and he has served in the following club offices:
